What is Reflexology?

Reflexology (including Foot Reflexology and Hand Reflexology) is an integrative health practice that maps a reflection of the body predominantly on the feet, hands, face, and outer ears. It uses unique manual techniques to deliver pressure to neural pathways assisting the body to function optimally.

How does it help the body?

Reflexology works by stimulating the reflex points on the feet, hands, and ears, which correspond to different organs, glands, and body systems. By applying gentle pressure to these reflex points, the body can balance and restore the flow of energy throughout the body. This can help to improve circulation, reduce stress, reduce pain and tension, and promote relaxation.

A Reflexologist will use a Reflexology chart or map of these points in the feet, hands, face and ears to determine where they should apply pressure. They will even use a specific foot reflexology chart or hand reflexology chart to be more accurate on the exact location.
